DLT Registration

Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), is a registration system based on block-chain. It is executed in the public interest (PI) to control the complete SMS spam. It is accomplished to stop the fraud, occurring through SMSes nowadays. Whoever wants to send PROMOTIONAL BULK SMSes and TRANSACTIONAL SMSes to their customers needs to be registered under DLT platform.

TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ,Act,1997) has mandated that all businesses (private company and Government organizations) that want to send SMS to their customers need register their business, headers (Sender ID's), content SMS templates and consent templates on any of the DLT platforms.

Note: For sending SMSes and creating your SMS portal/panel, we need PE (Principle Entity) id, Sender id (s) with Header id (s) and SMS content with name and template id.

Registration for DLT as Enterprises or Telemarketer?

You can register for DLT as:

1. Principal Entity registration is providing communications through SMS to current and prospective clients.

2. A telemarketer who has a direct line to the telecom companies.

3. A special Registration ID or Principal Entity id will be given to your company when you register for the first time. The majority of firms will register as Enterprise and when you finish the registration, you will be required to give the name and ID of your telemarketer. Before you begin the registration procedure, you can obtain this from your preferred SMS gateway service provider.

The major Indian telecom companies are permitted to offer DLT platforms by TRAI, GoI. The DLT registration procedures for each of these platforms are described here, along with links to them. On any one of these platforms, you can register.

 

Pricing for DLT registration:

On the initial platform where you register, you must pay a one-time DLT registration charge of Rs. 5,900. Any registrations on any of the other platforms indicated above after that are cost-free.

 

Documents required for DLT registration:

1. Company's GST certificate / Registration certificate / Incorporation certificate and Shop Act authorization

2. PAN CARD

3. MSME certificate (Optional)

4. Aadhar Card of Authorized person

5. Authorization Letter on company's letter head (Click Here to Download the Sample)

7. Payment receipt of Rs. 5900/- paid to any telecom company.

 

Other requirements:

1. Mobile Number for OTP verification

2. Email id for OTP verification

3. Concern person full name and designation

 

Header SMS / Sender id approval with SMS template approval:

You need to take approval for your company's sender id (Whichever is available). You can take multiple Sender id's. You can take only 6 alphabets for sender id, no special character, no numerical number is allowed. Once you will get the approval then you need to submit all your SMS templates for approval.

OTP and all other transactional based SMS will be registered under service inferred and all other SMS should be registered under Service Explicit. There are options to put variables ( {#var#} ) into your SMS template. There are options to send promotional SMSes also but for this you need to take approval of New 6 digit numerical sender id.

Once you will get all the approvals from telecom companies then you need to share a few details with us for creating your own SMS panel. These are:

1. PE ID (Principal Entity ID) with Screenshot of the page or Certificate which you have got from the telecom company.

2. Sender id name with header id

3. SMS template with template name and template id.

After the verification from our side, we will create your panel and you can enjoy our BULK SMS or Transactional SMS services.
